Babybedding.com Launches Baby Gift Registry

Wednesday, October 29th, 2008

Just in time for Holiday shopping, we have launched the Babybedding.com gift registry. Whether you are planning a shower, designing a nursery or just looking to navigate holiday shoppers to the baby bedding and nursery decor items that match your taste, the registry is perfect for creating the ultimate nursery buying guide that can be shared with friends and family.

Signing up for the registry is easy and saving items to your registry is even easier. After creating a registry account, adding items to your registry is as easy as clicking the “add to registry” icon beside any product. It’s that simple.

Save To Registry

Sharing your registry list is also simple. But for those wishing to restrict access, there are convenient options to control who can see (and purchase) your saved registry items.

The invitation-only registry is restricted to people with whom you have shared an access link to the registry. The private registry is only open to the registry account holder. A public registry, on the other hand, is the best option for allowing friends and family to find your registry profile via the registry search. Since it is public, people can visit your registry and make purchases without first having an invitation.

Try it out and tell us what you think!

Fabric Swatches: A Safeguard When Ordering

Thursday, July 17th, 2008

Ordering online can be a bit daunting, especially with something like baby bedding. Without being able to see and feel the fabrics, it is very difficult to have a true idea of what you will be getting; fortunately, the zoom and pan features on babybedding.com will help alleviate some of those problems. Even with the best of technology, though, colors of fabrics may differ from how you see them on your monitor. Until modern technology invents some way for you to feel the fabric through your computer screen, fabric swatches can be an online-orderer’s best friend.

We at Carousel Designs want our customers to be happy and satisfied with their purchase, because we know how important their nursery is to them. To ensure an exact match for your nursery, and satisfaction with fabric texture and quality, we recommend ordering swatches before placing your bedding order.

And, as always, Customer Service is just a phone call away to help address any concerns or answer any questions.

New Site Features

Friday, June 27th, 2008

After several months of busy days and late nights of furious coding by our stellar development staff, we launched the new babybedding.com site in early June.

The new website not only looks updated and sophisticated, its functionality has been upgraded with lots of great new features such as zoom imaging and tag search. Customer responses have been very positive as well. Let us hear from you!

To say the new launch is a ’success’ would be an underestimation by any measurement.

High Tech Imaging Gives High Touch Shopping Experience

There’s no doubt that gas prices have put a damper on the ecomony in many ways. While most baby bedding products today are made in the Far East and travel thousands of miles to reach the shelves of brand name stores, all of the products offered at babybedding.com were designed and manufactured in the USA. We’re like the Apple computers of baby bedding :-)

But since we do not offer a brick-and-mortar storefront, it might be easy to dismiss the ability to take a close look at our products and get the “high touch” experience. Not true. Our advanced product “zoom” feature was introduced to overcome that aspect of the shopping experience. Now, taking a look at the textures of our fabric is as easy as clicking a mouse. We also offer swatches for all of our fabrics so that true touch can still be experienced.

babybedding.com makes it easy to “buy local”, save gas and have a unique, up-close shopping experience.
